The Coal, Hardrock and Uranium Committees received a special briefing from the Governor’s Energy Office covering the State of Colorado’s Colorado Climate Roadmap. This presentation featured the State’s plans and modelling projections demonstrating how Colorado will meet the climate goals established by the Colorado General Assembly last year and were a key feature of Governor Polis’ policy goals.
The briefing is very comprehensive, it looks at all industrial sources of greenhouse gasses in the state and projects their reduction. This presentation provides CMA members a clear view of the direction Governor Polis’ administration plans to go in reaching Colorado’s climate goals.
