In September, CMA Board of Directors and invited guests enjoyed a dinner honoring longtime CMA member Jerry Nettleton of Peabody Energy. Jerry served on many CMA committees over the years, and as Board Chair in 2013. He was an avid supporter of the association and an integral part of updating CMA’s Environmental Sustainability Awards to promote sustainable practices and build positive public perceptions of our modern mining industry. CMA wishes Jerry all the best as he moves into a new phase of his life, and we look forward to our continued relationship with Patrick Sollars and his staff at Peabody Energy.
